Do the thing, Get the Power

Have you ever seen someone with some power or blessing in their lives and thought I sure wish I had that or I wish I could do that.  I heard Gary O’Sullivan speak the other day and he made the following statement that resonated with me…”Do the thing and you will get the Power”.

What he meant was that to achieve anything  there is a price to pay to get it.  Champions are champions in their field because they did what was necessary to become the champion.  Tiger Woods paid a great price to be Tiger Woods.  He did the thing and now he has the power of being the greatest golfer in the world.

If you want the power of being the greatest, then you have to do the thing to get there.  For example you want the power of being 50 lbs lighter, do the thing of working out and exercising.  You want the power of being a successful sales person, do the thing of becoming a great closer.

This applies to every area of our lives.  You want the power of a better marriage… do the thing to develop your relationship. You want the power of being a stronger Christian… do the thing of prayer and Bible Study.  You want the power of being successful in life… do the thing that brings success.

Power in any area of your life will not come without work.  Do the thing…GET THE POWER.

Pennies to dollars

I just listened to a 2plus 7 Conference Call and Pastor Linda Shepard from GA told the story of a lady who felt led of the Lord to join 2plus7 last week but did not have the money other than some coin.  She took it to Publix and put it in the coin counter praying “Lord, if you want me to join let there be $27 here…there was $28.  That was last week and she has cycled 20 times since then receiving $27 each time she cycled.  Do the math… 20 x 27 = $540

That is exciting. She now has money to pay tithes and pay bills.

What is 2plus7?

No I am not talking about 2+7 = 9.  I am talking about a great program that just hard launched on Saturday, July 18th, 2009.

It is a program that will save you money and we all need that in this economy. It is also a program that will make you money and you can probably use that too, right?

You join 2plus7 for $27 and it buys you a subscripti0n to a membership package that can save you lots of money.  Grocery coupons, restaurant coupons, travel discounts, prescription discounts, movie ticket discounts etc.

You also gain access to several professionls such as a Doctor who will give health tips, Dr. Forex who will train you on trading on the Forex Currency Exchange, a Pet Dr., a Nutrionist, a Personal Development Coach and much more.

BUT, you can also make money by having others join 2plus7.  Once you join you need to have two people to join and you are qualified and once that happens the next 7 people who join 2plus7 from anywhere in the world come in under you in the single line matrix, and you cycle and get your $27 back.  Each time you enroll two people, or two that you have already enrolled renews, you cycle and get another $27.

It may not sound like much but check out the income calculator on the home page of www.2plus7.com/raybrewster and play with the numbers and you will see how powerful this can get.

If you want to save money, and or make some money check out www.2plus7.com/raybrewster and view the two 90 second videos.

2plus7 = way more than 9.

Check back often for more updates on 2plus7 join us for a great ride.

The Slight Edge

Several years ago I was involved with a great businessman in Dallas Texas and he often referred to the Slight Edge Principle. Then last Saturday I was in a promotional meeting for a Company I am part of and one of the speakers talked about the Slight Edge Principle.

What is it? Well, I am glad you asked. It is doing slightly more than the average, slightly more than the next person, slightly more than you ordinarily do. The Slight Edge is the small difference between success and failure. The slight edge is not mammoth changes in what you do, but simply slightly more than you have been doing. And if you do the slight edge more every day over a week, a month, a year or a lifetime you have done much much more than the ordinary average person. The slight edge may be enough to take you from unsuccessful to successful, from successful to extremely successful.

So what exactly do you do when you do the slight edge. Perhaps it is making one more sales call when you tell yourself you are done for the day. Or one more phone call to a friend, or one more email etc.

The slight edge principle can make a great difference in every area of your life. Let’s look at some ways we can utilize the slight edge principle and imagine the difference it will make.

In your marriage if you do something special for your spouse everyday: an extra phone call or email, a hug in the middle of the day, an unexpected “I love you.”

In your job if you make one more phone call after you decide you are done for the day, or deal with one more situation, or send one more email. Imagine after a month of just one more’s how this will add up.

In your weight reduction to say no to one soda, or the second portion or the extra sweet.

In your spiritual life if you read one more chapter in the Bible, or spend an extra few minutes in prayer or meditation.

In your personal development if you read one more page or one more chapter in the book, or one more book in the month, or listen to one more CD in your car.

The slight edge is not a lot but it is a little on a consistent basis and over time it will make a huge difference in your life.

Why not try practicing the Slight Edge and see what is difference it can make for you.
